Gail and Shirley invite you to visit Bonair Winery this Winter
As usual, Spring has sprung, Fall has fallen, Winter's come and it's about as cold as normal. This is quiet time in wine country. The wines are all tucked snugly in their barrels for the long winter's rest.
We are open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday all Winter from 10:00 to 4:30. Weekdays, we will be open if we are here. We even plow the parking lot if it should snow. Most wineries are only open on weekends, but some close completely for a month. Check before you visit. Yakima motels can fill up with conventions and youth sports events, so if you plan to spend the night, call for reservations. We can help.

Check the Vineyard View Cam for the day's weather (updated from 8:15 to 11:00). From there, you can link to the Cascade pass pictures to check those out before venturing across the mountains. Be sure to call us for restaurant recommendations. If you ask the locals, their favorite restaurants are the Oily Garden, the Dead Lobster, and the Florida Steakhouse (all chain restaurants which means they are 'chained' to their lousy Californicated corporate wine lists.) Uncle Joe (Stalin) in Olympia won't let us recommend local restaurants on line. Don't eat in those chain restaurants with their schlocky California wine lists. If a restaurant serves lousy wine from California, the food was probably made in a factory in Van Nuys and just nuked for you at the restaurant! When we put things in a box, we usually put the box 6 feet under! Did you know that only 1 out of 6 bottles sold in Washington is from Washington. Uncle Joe doesn't care, he gets the same money from all.
